I had a two hour conversation with some random guy I met on the street the other day. We talked about all the typical shit at first, weather, politics, quatum physics, ect. Eventually the conversation took a turn into life experiences and such. The guy seemed fascinated with my life and the accomplishments I have made with my short time (not that I feel I have done anything special). He liked hearing about my travels, and the people I have met. At one point he said "It sounds like you have a lot of friends", to which I replied "No". I only have two friends (not including my family), both of which I have known for 20+ years. Don't get me wrong, I am not bitching. I am great at meeting people and can get along with almost anyone if given a chance. I have just never really been interested in making a lot of friends. I am just curious, though, how many friends do you have? I am talking real friends, not internet buddies of your friends page, but real people that you hang out with and actually enjoy the company of.
I'm not one to "hang out" with my friends. They have all learned to deal with it. But counting real friends....I would say three and that's not counting the people I care about that I've met online.
You would fit right in with my band of misfits. Our only common ground? We are all nerdy as hell.
less than 10 but more than 5, although i have the same problem that fitzy has they're all spread out from the mid west to the east coast, so really i have to drive 5-12 hours to go kick it with them, which i do every now and again.
Three real good mates. One of them I've known since year 11, so almost two and a half years since I met her. Another I met a year and a half ago and the other I met through a casual friend about a year ago. Those chicks are honestly three of the greatest people I've ever met, and I love them to bits
