more like covering up symptoms until you have none to smoke; and then the symptoms will likely be twice as bad..

Probably better off with low doses of LSD and a good Counselor to Vent to.

it calms me down and helps me feel better about not having the best life that i could. i know the root of my problems. smoking helps me come to terms with them.

Been smoking full on since 16 so would say over that time I have had huge mental changes but is that due to the drug or just plain old growing up hmm hard call but as a drug goes its probably one of the less harmful ones but with all things moderation. Trouble with any research is that there well over a 100 thc types all having different effects with the combinations and amounts, now days with all the high breeding going on I'd say any research would be virtually impossible.

I had bi-polar disorder and also stay depressed. But when I smoke marijuana, it really does help. I don't feel like I'm never going to be happy, I start looking at things in an all postive way. It is not bad to me at all. I would probably be one of the worst if I didn't have it. But thats not to say I rely on it in life. I just don't want to talk to a therapist 4 times a week and deal with all that stuff when I can be helped with a little grass.

I started smoking pot as a teenager and was worried if it would have an effect on my sperm count & if it would cause problems with my kids when I was ready to start a family. When I eventually started a family, my greatest fear was realized. My first child was born naked.

Yes. I get anxiety now, which is why I actually stopped smoking it.

I am more in touch with nature, more creative, and I have been extremely happy since I started smoking :)

In reality Cannabis does little to your mind in the long run, either positive or negative. It can make you lazy if you're a teen and you overdo it, it can also become an unpleasant experience with lots of paranoia and fear if you overdo it.

The way to see if it is having a positive or negative effect on you is to stop smoking for a couple of weeks. If you have problems doing that then there may be deeper problems in your life that you should solve before smoking again - and if you can do that without trouble, or even enjoy the return after the 2 weeks a lot more - then I believe it is having a positive impact on your life :)

Cannabis has been scientifically proven to only call apathy in teens, and even then, not all of them. It also has been proven to have absolutely zero effect on memory other than while you're high. I think you should stop for a while and find out what the real causes of these problems are, then you can continue to smoke without any worries once these problems have been resolved.

Yeah. I used to get very creative. My "high" poetry is a lot more innovative than my sober... I would just come up with more elaborate metaphors. The images would stick in my mind and I could visualize them. I remember even playing guitar, singing lyrics, and feeling as though i was in that world.
Yeah, I used to smoke a lot. But I stopped; I had a strange episode happen at work one day while completely sober. I was tripping--fully and genuinely. I felt as though I had just taken a couple of hits of pot. I haven't smoked since.

My poetry is still not bad. But I know I won't get into those sincerely bizarre modes anymore. I kind of regret that, because my high times were some of my best, but at the same time I appreciate having a clear mind.
    NOT against weed, though!
