aint it just common sense that you turn lights on at nite???? sorta like using a signal when ya turn,,,,

all this ghetto smurf has to say now is be glad i wasnt the cop that stopped ya...

 

nah sorry I have more important thngs to do than show up to a stupid court date and appease and kiss ass to some dickhead on a power trip who probobly became a cop because he was either too dense to finish college or liked having power over women he would never have a fucking chance with if he didn't have a gun.
And it is pretty judgmental for you to value my worth as a person based on a moving violation. Personally I know I contribute a great deal to society and I didn't need morality lectures as a child-so I certainly don't need them as an adult from you but thanks for your concern.

 

i drive with my lights on day and night. i like to be extra visible.

i got a 25$ ticket once for having tinted windows in my car. how lame is that? it came like that. i guess i made that asshole cop's quota for the day. bleh.

 

I forgot abou the quota that's right. I got a cop fired 2 years ago. He worked for the san diego pd and asked me why I was speeding and I said I was late to work he actually pulled my ear and started mocking me. He is lucky that all that happened was that he got fired and that I don't believe in law suits.

Yes it is totally legal to pull you over and give you a ticket for not having your lights on. It's incredibly common for drunk/stoned people to forget to turn their lights on (or they turn their windshield wipers/blinker on for no reason), so that may be the initial reason he pulled you over. That's what my cop friends have told me, anyway. Also, it's hard to see pedestrians in the dark.

 

really? I will go to the court date than and see if I can't get out of it.

From what I understand when I got my ticket recently, if the cop doesn't show up at your initial date and you contest the ticket, they set another appointment and let the cop know so he shows up next time. But it's worth a shot, anyway. They may not bother since it's such a minor offense. It's possible they may just throw it out if you show up.
