Cops vs. Criminals: Whom do you feel safer around these days?

I've seen some downright outrageous things about cops and criminals lately and have lived through one myself just lastnight that left my girlfriend and I very upset at our local police station. Furthermore I witnessed a big woman across the street beating up on another women then got in her car and attempted to run the other woman over. Cops finally showed up after 20 mins of this fighting and did nothing. The big woman yelled at the cops and they let her go.
I'm starting to more and more believe that the true criminals are the cops for not upholding what they signed on for: the law. While not every cop is bad, it is beginning to feel outweighed from the good one's. Please state your feelings and/or experiences if you wish.

 

I trust the Secret Service.

 

I trust the Police more than criminals...no doubt.

 

i trust criminals more then police..

at least the criminals i know.. lol

 

that depends on the crime...
i def wouldn't feel safe around a serial killer...but I would feel safe around a stoner

 

Same here, I don't want to be around a murderer. But the cops do kill people, the only difference is that they have a badge.

Im a criminal so I trust neither

I know they are about 90% of criminals that are way worse than me and 110% of cops that are worse

 

Ive been screwed by both. And I am of the opinion that most cops ARE criminals.

I voted I feel safer around criminals, as most of my friends are criminals, and I am too.

 

I think most people here are criminals, from the pot heads to the narcs, everybody does something.

 

As one of my 'buddies' once said...

'The stupid criminals get caught. The smart ones go into law enforcement and get perks.' so why should I trust any of the lot?

 

To be honest, a crminal. I feel like I always have to put on my best behavior around a cop, and act entirely too stiff. With a criminal, you can chillax, talk about your habits and the like.

Also, to what degree are we talking about "criminal". Like smoking weed, or murder?

 

Cops need crime to keep their jobs.

 

What kind of criminals? They can range in severity from an old lady with a few illicit pot plants to a heavily tattooed murderer.

 

What about a heavily tattooed old lady, who grows a few pot plants, and happens to murder once in a while.

 

She sounds like quite the character.

In my country police are more criminal than gangsters. It will be beter to exchange places of gangs and copsiggy:. And, in this case, the situation will be better. A.C.A.B.
