About a week ago I decided to shave off all my pubic hair. I did a little bit of trimming before I started, so the hairs were, idk, half an inch long. But later, after I finished shaving, it started to get very itchy down their. the day after, small red bumps were starting to come up on the base. very ictchy. So, I'm wondering if there is a better way for me to shave that doesn't irritate my skin so much, or why my skin got so irritated? It's been a week now, and I haven't shaved yet because it'd probably be painful the way my skin is right now. but maybe it was irritated because of the length of the hair? Maybe if I shave it at what is now a much shorter length might not irritate it as much? idk. advice would be appreciated. thanks!
use lots of gel/lotion when you're shaving. and this is going to sound weird, but it really works, once you're clean shaven apply roll on deodarant and you shouldn't get the bump.
To answer someone's question, I'm a guy. I forgot to mention that. I'll have to try some of those suggestions. thanks for the comments so far.
oh easy get an electice razer trim like u do and get in a shower use pertplus or what ever i like the crew stuff the get a nice sharp razer and use shaving cream (must) the gel kind after lotion it up i never completly shave any more since i dont swim i just trim and the balls well im very very careful i dont want to go to the ER with a riped sack (shivers)
I shave on a regular basis - usually about once a week. When you first start shaving the skin does tend to be a bit itchy & tender, but you need to allow it to acclimatise. Once you've shaved a few times your skin gets used to it & remains smooth. As a tip, do your shaving in the bath & afterwards apply a liberal dusting of baby powder. This adds to the smooth feel & lessens the chance of any rash.
thanks for the suggestions. I'll try it out again. My skin is almost completely back to the way it was before down there.
Make sure that you use a new razor and either use shave creme or hair conditioner. Also wait a few minutes after applying the creme/condition. Give it time to soften the hair..I mentioned in another thread that my man uses Nair..works great for him..leaves it on about 4 mins..Any longer and it burns..
Nope. If you don't want a nappy crotch, you gotta deal with itchy nads for the rest of your life. Shit sucks.
well, it's a lot better now. I've been shaving for the past month or so now, and there's no more irritation. I don't know if my skin is just getting used to it, or I'm learning how to do it better, but it works. I like it a lot better than all the hair. I shave about every week now, after it has grown in a bit.
Gold bond Medicated powder....soothes dry skin, shaving burns and just feels awesome on fresh shaved ballsack
Real connoisseurs of female genitalia usually prefer natural, trimmed, or plucked (in that order), and know that shaved is for the teenagers and old farts. Have fun, play safely, and eat your honey!
