Suppose after smoking you need to end your high for whatever reason like getting a call to come into work to cover for someone or some emergency comes up. What methods are good for this?

I remember reading somewhere that drinking hot water can reduce a marijuana high. Has anyone tried that?

Sometimes, I drink hot tea when I'm high, and it doesn't take the high away.

#1 (but also unpleasant) way to get un high is to be confronted with a situation involving police. the first time i smoked out of my first personal pipe that happened. i have never come down faster.

Drinking Red Bull or other types of drinks with lots of stimulants, like sugar. You will crash later but the sugar and stimulants will wake you up a little. Then again, this is why I don't smoke until after work or when I know I will not be working.

I have gone to work high once but I had a security guard job that basically had me sitting round, doing check rounds and that's it. I would think you would need to end a high for a job that required more complicated tasks and you having to do a lot of interacting with people. Could you work a cash register high?
