Hello folks, After reading the forums for the past hour I thought I would sign up and say, firstly, thanks!! there's masses of really good info and it's been a great help planning my first trip to Amsterdam next week!! But second there's a few things I was wondering about and maybe someone could help me out? I really would like to check out some live music when I'm there Jazz, folk, blues, anything chilled tbh even a nice small trip hop club would be cool!! I'm in Amterdam 3rd - 6th nov which is a mon to thurs, If anyone knows any clubs or bars that might have something on could you let me know! Was also planning an afternoon excursion to Hoge Veluwe national park in the east if anyone has ever been there would be great to have any tips on best way to get there and what its like. asterbleeft Jazz: check out Club Alto (just off the Leidseplein) there are other jazz venues as well, but I can't think of them off hand.
