hi, well, 3 years without writing in english so... sorry. i was searching on the web when i found this, im trying to understand what happend with hippies, im from latinamerica, here is different, change the world means try to change usa and with that change the whole world, i know u are dif. but thats the way is like here.... well i'd be gratfull with someone who can help me with my doubts, i've got the theory that the fbi or the cia tortured or kill most of the hippies and thats the reason they "disapeard", i know most of u were hippies so maybe u can explain me why this beautiful and big group of people try to change the world and was sure that there ideals were the ones to follow, and at the other day went to university or were finding a job and try not to bother.... i just dont understand... well, thanks, and im very pleased of discovering this, since im a kid i think hippies rocks, my mom was a hippie, but when she was 23 a dictatorship came to my country, and all latinamerica, so if u were hippie, u were going ti prison so, bye che guevara posters.... then i was totally crazy with janis and pink floyd and tought: yeah, this would have been perfect, but in this generation is imposible! the fucking materialsm is too big for us.... so... thanks and bye! saludos, adios!
