    Does this geezer belong in a nursing home?

    Are his economic predictions worth any more than AIG stock?

    Thoughts....Comments....

    Greenspan is what he has always been: a frontman and mouthpiece for the private bankers.

    Does 40-year low interest rates ring a bell?

    Look at his history ~ an older guy (81 - 82) ~ i can actually believe that he would NEVER have thought that anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together would EVER:
    1) be as dishonorable and disreputable as these other jokers have;
    2) shoot themselves in the foot, to the point that they have DESTROYED the very customer base;
    and 3) just not give a care in the world, because they got theirs, fast and easy.

    That would shock me, if i came from a world where there were actually such things as ethics and respect.

    What am i saying ~ it's breath-taking (like a punch in the stomach) no matter WHAT 'times' you come from.

    Sorry, but i actully don't watch, nor listen to, TV. i did watch the first season of Burn Notice on my computer, but i'm usually researching, reading and posting in the forums i'm a member of.

    Well, anyway

    No, low interest doesn't ring a bell...

    Is this some kind of joke that I am not in on?

    Do you really need a huge crisis before you can realize that businesses don't always work for the best interests of the people?

    oh boy

    You mean to tell me that their aren't people out there with better sense than those that currently work with our government and economy? That seriously baffles me.

    This is further proof that the people are generally smarter than their leaders.

    No joke.

    Yes, because, believe it or not, business USED to work for themselves 1st, but they NEVER just ran rough-shod over their customers. They understood that if you make enough customers angry, or bankrupt, that pretty soon, you won't HAVE any customers.

    i was in college about 18 years ago, and there was a course that was taught ~ Ethics. Is it still on the ciriculum? Somehow, despite the hippie-gen's best efforts, any thought of ethics have all been thrown aside in order to worship the almighty dollar.

    We threw it aside before we knew all the ins-and-outs, and the folks holding the reins laughed their asses off. We were even easier to lead than their gen. And what have WE produced?...

    OBAMINITES! :rofl: THAT ought to make your hair stand on end!
