Ohh thanks Cate And I cant put band/artists/ shirts and dresses on my baby haha I dont know, I kinda dont like the whole idolizing people. I mean if she/he wants to wear someone's shirt fine with me, but Im not putting it on her.
^ I want that in my size. Autentique those outfits are so cute. Baby clothes are the only way to make me sappy about babies. Actual babies rarely get my attention. haha The clothes I ooh and awww over. My aunt waited until her ultrasound to start buying cute baby girl clothes. She had to return everything after her son was born. Yep the doctor was wrong. I tease my cousin about it sometimes that I had bought him a really cute dress to wear home from the hospital.
Awwww those are so cute My half sister is 6 months and she is so gorgeous, I'm in love with her Everytime I go and see her she's grown so much and her mummy is putting her in her new clothes and they are sooo cute She has this little jacket and pants thing, it's the softest thing I've ever felt, it has little monkeys on it it's all green and yellow. My dad's wife likes those colours, and before she was born we didn't want to get too much pink stuff, coz it could still have been a boy
The childrens place are pretty decent QUALITY clothes ,too.Which is important when you put 'em through 80 washes trying to get that spit up stain out ,and they still hold their seems I didn't buy clothes for my daughter. We bought a few shoes, a few JUST in case cloth diapers, and room accessories- but as soon as our relatives(she has two great grams, two grammys, and a handful of aunties) heard the word "girl" we were swamped in baby clothes. We have only just begun needing to buy essentials and she is 3!I think having a girl might have saved us a crap load of money.I doubt we woulda got as many outfits if we had a boy.
You should start looking at summer lines- I am sure you will find great stuff- think sunglasses, baby bathing suits, bright colors, spring dresses ... that's all fun stuff, too.
awww, how cute! i'd be so buying baby clothes already, if i wasn't broke, lol! and i'm not even preggers! hahaha... i saw the cutest little tiedied onesy in the hippie store the other day... but i'm hardcore not buying anything new unless it's underwear or shoes (which i barely wear anyways), so i'll be goodwill buying for babies for the most part. babies barely wear their clothes before they outgrow them, so you can get some really amazing stuff for very little moneys.
I am gonna go buy a onesie with the Sublime Logo for Calleigh. she wont know who they are, but its daddy's favorite band and I know he would love to see it on her. she will know good music from a very yound age. My sister hasnt bought many clothes, my bro-in-law's friends who all have girls gave them most of the stuff they needed. crip, bassinett, car seat , stroller, swing, playpen, walker, and tons of baby clothes. I mean tonnnns. she's got more clothes than all of us combined.
Oh, and you know what I would do? If you buy baby clothes before the baby is born, just keep all of the tags on them until he/she is born. That way, if the doc DID mistake the sex, you can simply return the stuff, exchange it. No harm done. I kept the tags on all of my kids' clothes until they born, but my doc was right with the sex of all three of them. Plus, I kind of knew anyway, mother's instinct.
I planned on doing that- but nesting instinct kicked that plans butt. Instead i prewashed all her clothes in baby detergent and had them neatly folded, hung up in order of size and warmth long before she was born .. LOL
