It doesn't get any less bizarre. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.washingtondispatch.com/culture/archives/000651.html 'Bush Wired' Story Continues; 'Bulge' Appears in Third Debate October 14, 2004 12:12 AM Shortly after the first presidential debate, buzz began to build on the Internet regarding a bulge that appeared under the jacket of George W. Bush and squarely between his shoulder blades. The story recently carried over to mainstream news with reports in the New York Times and even segments on CNN. A story by Salon.com furthered a growing theory that Bush was wired for sound to receive assistance during the debates. While the Bush campaign shrugs off the comments as "conspiracy theories" they have denied that Bush was wearing any type of Kevlar vest that could explain the angular shape under his suit. In the third and final debate, the bulge came back. As shown in the attached photo generated in house directly from the NBC broadcast (click the image to enlarge), the clearly defined shape that started this buzz is back. Judge for yourself as to what the shape may be.
It looks like either a bullet-proof vest (understandable, considering the number of people who really hate the guy), or just a wrinkle in his jacket. With today's technology he could have a transmitter-reciever that would fit entirely inside his ear, and even if he was on a college-kid budget he could manage something smaller than that huge bulge. I think it's a kilo of pharmaceutical cocaine.
yeah that's a good point, you'd imagine if they're going to put a wire on him, it's not going to be a fucking computer strapped to his back.
Well, who knows what it is. I never said that I thought he was wired, rather I was simply referencing the title of the article in the title of my thread. It could be anything, or it might be nothing at all. It's just kind of STRANGE that the same bulge was previously seen on his back, in the first debate.
haha.. yeah, people are always thirsty for scandal. what do you think, is it possible he was wired, rat? from reading your posts thus far you seem pretty wise.
No, I do not think he was wired. It wouldn't look that apparent if it was just a wire. BUT, he clearly had something under his jacket. Like you said, maybe it's a bulletproof vest, or maybe nothing more than a wrinkle. It just seems kind of odd that the same thing was seen on his back in the first debate. It's nothing more than a reasonable question. Personally, I don't buy the whole "wire" story. I'd just like to know what he had on his back.
ok, as an art student i spent a lot of time studying the drape of fabrics and drawing the clothed figure. i'd say from the look of it, it's not a wrinkle, it wouldn't bunch like that unless there was something under there. personally, i think it's the opening where the ventriloquist sticks his hand. although it could be under-developed demon wings.
Secret x-ray of Bush taken during the debate. It didn't reveal a radio receiver but rather something else.
