sorry about this i have posted in the past about the same topic but here we go again with my psycotic pregnancy questions.. i am on the depo shot for BC and it is supposed to be 99.7 percent effective.but i STILL FREAK OUT... the first month on it i started my period exactly on time and it was like a light period the whole time, not bad at all, it lasted like this for 2 weeks though. but i didnt mind and its to be expected on this shot. now in my second month i also started on the exact day i was supposed to, but this was really light, the next day it was hardly there, and the third it came back a little, but it was just enough to notice that i was bleeding some. then it was gone. now i am freaking out because compared to my first period on this shot the last one was like 1/4 of it. it only lasted a couple days and the last one was extra long, plus this was barely there. i have heard that u can be pregnant ans still bleed a little. and since i am psycho this kinda makes me worry, even though i know the shot is supposed to screw u up and i have only been on 3 months so i am not used to it yet. when i wasnt on it every other period i had was light also, so maybe thats it. anyway, i just need to feel a little better so it would be cool to heard some input. do u think i am okay? or has anything similar happened to u? just wondering
Or not at all, if you get your shot on time. I've been on depo for just over a year now, and I've only menstruated once - very briefly, because I was a day late for my shot instead of a day early, like I usually am.
I am not on the shot so i dont really know as much but i do take the pills..but yeah it does make you periods alot lighter and everything and yes you can still bleed if ur pregnant but its very unlikely to happen more than once..i mean if you have sex like RIGHT before you are supposed to start(up to like a week i do believe) then you can still bleed and be pregnant but i wouldnt worry about it to much unless you go several times without having a period..if you are really worried and seriously think you could be pregnant then you can go get the pregnancy test..i wouldnt worry about it to much if i were you
I didn't get my period on the depo shot. take a preg test every month if you're worried about it. I pesonally think the deporovera is bad for you. I gained a lot of weight on it and after a year or two I still have't lost all of it. Be carefull.
