in the community's educated opinion what are some of the shortest duration rc's. maybe we could have a chart or list or something 2cx seems reasonable - swim has tried a few but would like to try some of the tryptamines , although I am concerned about the length of the trips any suggestions not interested in smoking just oral dose considering 5-meo-mipt for next experiment bogaziti Edit/Delete Message
4-ACO-DMT 4-HO-MET are both very short, averaging about 4 - 6 hours for an average dose. i'm sure there are others, but the above two are the ony ones I have actually tried.
4-AcO-DiPT / 4-HO-DiPT personally if one compound is named king, let that be Iprocin! Comeup time is incredibly short oraly, your nearly peaking 15-20 minutes and only lasts for 2-4 hours until you're completely baseline. also others that come to mind 2C-D 2C-B (also snorted 2C-B is short-lived, and more intense) 5-MeO-DALT DMT (and most other tryptamines smoked) Ketamine
yup, 5-meo is very very short in duration my thoughts on 5-meo dmt, many people believe it is the 5-meo that takes you into the 'deep void' -- level 7 -- deep brain core, and the DMT is more of a spectacular 'light show' - but lacking the powerful transcendental UMPH that 5-meo packs. I tend to believe this, and KNOW the most powerful entheogenic experiences I've had were with 5-meo -- I am talking the 'I DIED and NO LONGER EXISTS' state...not the 'WOW -- look at all the dancing ELVEs" state. For the most part --- anyone I've ever given 5-meo too, came out of it with a 'holy shit, that is fucked' exerience, and really, I would have had to pay them alot of money ever to smoke it again -- I know that is how I felt my first time. There have been a couple real NUTS Ive known who seemed to like it, it with a number of uses I found myself staying up late at night, smoking 5-meo from a pipe, trying to feel that feeling of a thought you can't remember..or something, like a dream inside a dream inside a dream.....a mobius strip of mind going through infinity... 5-meo is an entheogen of the highest degree -- not for the weak of heart, or for those who really are afraid of death...
The DOx last much longer than LSD, with most of them having effects that last over 20 hours. I would say it depends on how intense you want it to be, for short and really intense I would say DPT even though you have to snort it. For an overall decent trip that isn't that long I would suggest 4-ACO-DMT or 4-ACO-DIPT, and if you want something a bit longer I would recommend AMT which is probably my favorite tryptamine I have tried, but it can last up to 14 hours.
Exactly what I was going to say. I've never had an LSD trip that lasted 7 hours...that must be some weak ass fucking acid. Also, AMT can last MUCH longer then 14 hours. It lasted 22 hours for me, and that was only 40mg, no redose. I WISH it only lasted 14 hours...that shit is pure hell.
My experience with LSD lasted from about 11:30am until 9:00pm, with a slighly off-baseline for the next 3 hours, followed by insomnia for another 4 hours. so for me (on a low dose however), the trip from onset to the end of the plateau lasted about 9-10 hours. DOC (also quite low) lasted from about 1;30pm until about 10pm, with only mild insomnia lasting until 1am at the latest. but as noted, i have only experienced lower doses of these chemicals, and i wouldnt be surprised if the effects lasted/were noticible longer as the dosage increased. for reference, since my timing on LSD was incorrect: It was relatively weak LSD, but definitely effective. Visuals were at almost minimum (slight "coloured electrical charges" at one point, and minor fractals watching TV), but i had an outstanding experience watching pink floyd concert DVDs, with the songs seeming more meaningful then ever before. but yes, the timing is more in the 9-12 hour range, with an off-base effects lasting several hours in addition.
I only use extremely strong dosed LSD from Europe (hoffman originals for example which are 250 ug) and I have never had an LSD trip that lasted longer than 12 hours. I would say I am coming down pretty fast at nine hour mark, with a six hour peak and a forty minute come up. On a 750 ug trip the experience lasted for around 12 hours, with a peak of around 8 hours instead of 6 and a come down of a few extra hours too. I have used over 100 hits from several different european sheets and the time is pretty consistent, sometimes a bit longer or shorter but in general stays the same. Never tried American LSD and there is a healthy amount of debate as to if American LSD is somehow different than European LSD. I know a lot of people who have had both and many of them say it is different in USA than Europe, despite both obviously being LSD. I personally think this is a load of horseshat though because LSD is LSD, I guess the synthesis route the cooks in europe use are different than the ones cooks in usa use, but LSD is still LSD.
DMT is NOT a prodrug of psilocin, seriously where do people on this forum get their chemistry information from, first jwh-018 is an analog of a cannabinoid and then dmt is a prodrug of psilocin. A prodrug is like HOT-7 which degrades into the body into 2c-t-7, therefor it is a prodrug of 2c-t-7. Or LYS-MDA which degrades into MDA, and is a prodrug of MDA.
Dimethyltryptamine is orally active if mixed with a monoamine oxidaise inhibitor, the preperation is called ayahusca if it is from plants and pharmahusca (anecdotally anyways) when it is synthetic powders. 4-aco-dmt is more similar to psilocin than it is to dimethyltryptamine. I believe 4-aco-dmt is a pro-drug of psilocyin, but it is NOT a prodrug of DMT. It is the Phosphate Ester of psilocyin (4-HO-DMT). 4-ho-dmt is dmt with a hydroxy group coming off the four position. EDIT: Opps I totally misread your post dude I thought you were saying 4-aco-dmt is a prodrug of DMT really sorry man lol.
