I just wish the Cincinnati Reds didn't come in last place every year. Out of the 2 in the series, I am definitely going for the Phillies.
John there is hope. I was just at the store with Jack and you know the bank in the corner, well a bunch of people left from there, wearing red Phillies shirts and closed the bank at like 11AM
Seems like whenever they hit a home run in the first inning, it's all over. They just set the scene from there
I want the Rays to win I loved how they took out Boston, who I hope never reach the world series for 100 years
I don't mind the Phillies I just love how the Rays fucked up that overpriced Northeast division. The only teams I despise are the Yankees and the Red Sox, and the Red Sox much more. Either way i don't really care, I just think its a great story, and anyone who makes a Red Sox fan cry deserves some accolades
Being a Red Sox fan I suppose I should be offended but I can identify with your antipathy. My perspective with all sports is that my life remains fundamentally unchanged whether "my" team wins or loses. I felt more conflicted cheering for the Sox when Manny was in left field. He and his agent exemplify what's wrong with professional sports.
god damn it no one can get Stinkfoot upset I might stop hating the team if they just go away for a while I think the Rays exemplify whats still good about pro sports
Wellllll- if it make you feel all warm and fuzzy then: Argh you damned hater fecal fragment of sub-human troglodyte with pulp-like particles added and such... I hope you get force fed into a gigantic food processor, whipped into a sports drink (or frenzy) and served to the Tampa Bay Rays leading to their epic world series demise! Anger is such an overused tool that it becomes dull and nonresonant... not to mention toxic in any debate. Frankly, the only way I could possibly take jabs at my teams personally is if I were actually a member of said teams. I'd like to think in that case I'd have my millions to comfort me... though human nature suggests otherwise but thats food for another discussion.
