They piss me off, why are they fighting a war when their name says exactly what they should be doing GUARDING THE FUCKING NATION!
they don't piss me off, their leaders bring me sorrow. without a draft, there is no cause for the national guard to leave our shores.
They pay for college, you get a butt-load of money, medical pay, they help pay for a house... I just don't think I'm prepared to get blown up by a car bomb for it.
you could say the same thing of the ministry of defense. why isn't there a ministry for defense and one for offense? one would think the reasons are obvious.
what other nation has the capability to transport large quantities of troops/weapons/equipment/transpo units/etc that will allow them to invade ground of the US?
Besides guarding the US they're also there to augment the military when necessary. That's why they've been sent over. Bush has us fighting 2 wars on 2 different fronts.
There was never peace in this world, forms of wars or chaos goes back trillions of years, whether it me of human caused events or the collision of planets and asteroids which may have formed our planet.
