I know this is a pretty risky subject in these days of increased airline security in the name of fighting terror but does anyone know of any ways to transport bud that is undetectable by dogs and/or x-ray? Also what about through the mail? Has anyone tried either?
If you'll be flying in the USA or crossing the US border, don't carry weed with you. With security like it is, you'll stand a good chance of getting caught. I don't know how it is in other countries, but I wouldn't chance it in the USA.
When I returned from Amsterdam this summer, I came home to a small brown package with 10 grams of dutch hash in it! If your going somewhere, and you know the adress, SHIP IT. Ive done this countless times. If you are traveling with a used pipe, take rubbing alcahol, salt, and plastic bags, and fill the bags with alcahol, and salt and put in the piece. Shake the bag up, and let it be for a couple hours. Then boil some water and drop glass pieces int here. DOnt worry they wont crack or anything. This is of ocurse, if you wish to bring a pipe on the plane, and be positive that they cannot arrest you for ash and resin still in the bowl. If you dont want to ship it, here are some methods i have used in the past: 1. Take the pot, triple bag it, and stick it in a shampoo bottle that is full of shapmpoo. The smell is drastically eliminated, and no on would look in there, 2. ^^ Same as a above, except you put the pot in a jar of peanut butter. The peanut butter eliminates odors, and xray machines pick it up as one solid block. Plus, NO ONE, will ever want to go rooting around in a peanut butter jar. 3. The most complicated, yet the most effective. I used ths coming home from italy, with some firenze hash. Step 1. take a bar of hand soap, a knife, a lighter, and the casing of a zippo (or some material you can melt things on, ie a teflon pan) Step 2 Take the knife and begin digging out a whole in the soap. It schould be as large as u need to fit in your pot, with about half an inch above it. This is very time consuming, so i suggest this only as a last resort. Or if you have some great bud. Step 3 After your whole is duge out, put your bud or hash in tin foil, and rap and compress it as much as possible. Jam it into the hole in the soap. Step 4 Take all of the soap shavings and press them into a ball. Slowly melt the shavings onto the tinfoil, slowly filling up the hole. I take the shavings and layer them over the bud, and melt them back with a jet lighter. This is risky because it can burn the tinfoil. Step 5. Use the Soap!! Use the bar to wash your hands, to smoothen out the texture. The End! This is th emsot effective way! theo

Right! I'll just go out back and use one of the planes in my backyard too. And don't just put your joint in a cigarette pack, you never know if there will be dogs around.
i was told this by an actual narcotics officer. if you take your ganja put it in a air tight container. wash your hands. put it in another air tight container. wash your hands. put it in a peanut butter jar. close the jar place in carry on bag.
If they checked international packages often, my packages of 10ga hollow bevelled piercing needles would probably not be making it to my house from Canada. However, I don't know if they have a policy on checking them regularly or not. I haven't had any problems with the US/Canada border. Neither country's customs really checked me, though the US tried a little harder to look intimidating. Neither my brother or friends have had any trouble there, either. Very lax.
