herion never made me itch. but maybe that is because i was addicted to it for a long time and don't remember and had to do so much just to stay well. poppie pods made me itch like crazy the first time i tried them but then not much after that. i like the itchies. it shows me that the opiate is working - LOL
Yeah, I love the itching. A lot of people can't stand it, but I just sit there and rub my nose with a huge grin on my face...I must look insane.
fuck yea man This was one of the first threads I posted on. I'm actually glad that ratgirl is bringing them back. My nose and pubes get the itchiest when I'm on opies. It's damn fun to get that itch, though. I don't really care what I look like when I'm on them so I scratch away When do the itches usually hit you guys??? For me I'd say I get them around the 1.5 hour mark, or maybe a little before.
Guess it depends on which opiate, but yea usually within the first and second hour is when they start for me. Usually its my neck and scalp that itch the most from opiates. Feels good to scratch
Ok, call me stupid - I never realized that hydros caused itchiness. I wouldn't even call it an itch, really, meaning an itchy spot that will make you crazy if you don't scratch it. I sometimes start scratching my legs and it feels so good, I keep scratching lightly all the way up and down.
I definitely feel itching. I guess some people don't itch from them, however, it probably depends on the dose, buncha. You won't itch on like 10-15mg of hydro. Pedal, my scalp is always first to itch, too Even when my friends are on opies they just look at my weird when I say that scratching my head feels good. I don't know how it doesn't happen to them
Now that I think of it, I don't ever remember getting all that itchy from hydro either... not like the crazy itch fests I would get on codeine, morphine, oxy or even methadone. Perhaps there isn't as much histamine release with hydro? Also, whats the deal with the nose itching on opiates. I've noticed a lot of people mentioning this, but my nose has never itched... at least, not that I can recall anyways.
i get itchy as fuck on pills like super itch lol. i dont find it annoying its feals so f'in good to scratch away. heroin i sometimes will get a little but not any even on the same level as pills.
The itch is enjoyable. Who doesn't enjoy a great feeling of warmth from opiates and an even better feeling when you scratch the body part?
The most hydro I can take is 2 Norcos at a time or I get severe nausea. Even 2.5 would only be 812.5 of APAP, so I don't know... is that enough to make someone nauseous? Yep, I'm a dumb noob AND have low tolerance. I enjoy oxy and would take it, but it gives me really bad, violent dreams where I wake up crying and screaming. Codeine makes me sick... I don't have much experience with morphine. My PM dr offered me XR methadone, oxy, morphine, fentanyl patch etc, but I am sticking with the hydro for now because it manages the pain and gives me a little kick of dumb grins. Hell, I am happy with three Darvocet or two Demerol (although Demerol makes me sleepy). Ok, there's my opi truth... so, am I not welcome here anymore?

It's weird, but hydro makes me itch a lot and morphine doesn't..and the dosage of morphine I had was much higher and pure.
