So I have these two hands that I feel aren't helping the world out as much as they could be. I work at a enviromentally unsafe industry and the people I work with are completely ignorant and try to go out of their way to NOT even recycle, let alone throwing their trash anywhere they want. Plus on top of that, the business seems to be sliding further down the spiral. I'm looking for ideas of a good job that helps contribute to the environment or even people, but not having required a degree or serious education for that job. Any help please?
No I'm not holding back. I've put a lot of work with my own hands into this place but my boss just seems to think that doing nothing is doing the right thing. I'm looked down upon for being a "recycling nazi" in this place, and they intentionally throw things in the dumpster that can easily be recycled and saying, "You've lived long enough, you don't need to recycle." It's just so frustrating that these ignorant people are around me.
how bout keep your job,up your attitude about recycling a bit so that they will throw more recyclable stuff out, then scavenge the dumpster daily and start a side business recycling there shit.. its a win win the way i see it..
Thats a job I would actually like, get stoned, put on your ipod and do some mindless task while you think about more important stuff.
