I feel bad for girls, I do. They have better orgasms than we do, better sex all around really even their emotions are supercharged so the act is fucking fantastic for them. But social norms are just so cut and paste judgemental about women who "sleep around". It's bullshit, if a guy sleeps with a different girl every day of the week he is "Loved by women" and aplauded for it. But if a girl sleeps with a new guy every WEEK, or even month in certain cases, they are socially crucified with words such as "Slut" and "Whore".

I have a strong sense that something is wrong in a person who demorilizes women in this way.

I'm curious what the women here have to say about this.

I think that as much as we like to say that men and women are equal we aren't, and wont be for awhile.

 

I always find that 'slut' comments stem from jealousy. Guys only call girls sluts when they're jealous that they didn't get fucked. It's true, if a guy that slept with her said she's a slut, he'd just say it in a laughy joking manner y'kno? ame with women I'd say. Women call other women sluts because they want some action

Plus people will always see it differently. Guys are just penetrating, or as girls are taking someone inside of them. You can see the differences in peoples minds.

 

Yeah this is definitely true. I don't think women will be equal till men are willing to accept that just cause they have a dick that they aren't top.

On the other side of that I don't really think that women want to be totally equal. We'd miss the small gestures like men opening doors for us and being home makers too much.

this may sound bad, and i dont mean it to be, but i honestly believe that the reason most men cant get along anymore with women is due to the whole equal rights thing... i dont know how many times i argue with my girlfriend just because shes pissed off i think im right, its stupid... for example this morning, i woke up to use the rest room about 20min before we had to get up... she asks what time it is, i said i dont know, il brb... come back, turn on her cell phone, and she bitches me out for it, its like im just looking for what time it is, you asked...

now if this was 20 years ago and there was still that stand of submision, she wouldnt have cared what i was doing because "im in charge"...

I feel that alot of girls are judged in a negative way, but with some men it is no problem to sleep with different people at any time.

I'm a girl, I had a one night stand with a man some months ago. For me, it was amazing, and i actually really, really liked him, everything about him....
but then he told me(in the late morning) that he had a girlfriend.

Now that sucked, because for me it was more than just a fuck and to him it was obviously different. i then felt guilty because he had a girlfriend and thought that maybe a one night stand with a handsome stranger isn't for me.
Naturally, guys have testosterone, usually have a higher sex drive, but not always, and society has provided for this and accepts it.

Women have seen to be less driven by sex, and since some years ago that has changed. we have had more freedom to do what we want, but certain people still think it is wrong for a woman to be as sexually free as men.

Eveyone is different, it is wrong to say all men fuck anything with a pulse, and all women need is one man to be 'in charge'.
I feel like i can do what i want, and when if people judge me it is because of their own insecurities around sex. I also agree with Gigoloaunt, the use of the word 'slut' usually comes from a person who isnt getting enough.

I think divorces are rising because women can express their own voice within it, this causes the traditional values of marriage to have an unbalance, and that is Deffinetley not a bad thing. If marriage was seen as an equal partnership of love, freedom and peace, then divorces would probably be decreasing.
Also, a partner for life is very hard to find. Lucky if you do.

It seems in my generation there is this growing trend of jealousy
that shit is stupid. I am 21 I could honestly careless if the woman I am with wants to fuck another man. I want to fuck other women... SO if were both safe and getting tested honestly what is the problem why must people get so caught up over human nature.

Okay, as much as I agree with the OP, this is changing (thank Goddess!). The dominant culture has men living in a scarcity paradigm towards sex, and it seems like we are more driven by sex. Now, it's starting to seem as though we are not wholly alone in this (again, thank Goddess that the universe is not so cruel to drive men so much by sex, and not as much the subjects of our desire!), as the cultural paradigm starts to change, it is more acceptable for women to express themselves sexually, and hence we see a rise in polyamory and other forms of open relationship.

I also see this paradigm of the "homemaker" changing. I live in a tribe where overall the men do as much or more cooking as the women, and about as much cleaning. These lines gray as we as individuals are more free to express ourselves truthfully, we are all so different in so many ways, yet all have the same needs and drives.

I also basically agree with Funkateer. I support my lovers getting as much as they want, since I obviously want the same privilege for myself, and envy only applies when I'm not getting any!

Yep, that's why I try not to insult any woman who turns me down, because I'm only doing it out of spite. One thing I don't understand about some guys is why they sleep with a girl, call her a slut, and not realize it makes him a slut too if she's one too.

This topic is always depressing. All I have to say is that people are stupid and more than likely always will be, yet another thing that seems bred into them. That causes a lot of issues that we deal with, hence why I just don't normally bother with people, sex, or relationships. 80% of the time my attitude stays at screw people, they need to end themselves, the other 20% of the time its a massive dislike.

 

i've been dating my boyfriend for a year. we've set a wedding date and have an apartment together, yet we're not allowed to have sex in my parent's house when im home. yet my younger brother just met a girl 3 days ago, brought her home and fucked her and she slept over. my brother doesnt even know her name, and all my mom said to him was 'did you use a condom?' i asked her why it's okay for him to have sex in the house and not me, and she said because he's a boy and he NEEDS sex. wtf!?! it's bs! women have just as many sexual needs as men. if they didnt, guys would all have to be gay to get their needs met

as a chick, I think social norms regarding this are bullshit.
I don't listen to what the mainstream tells me is an acceptable number of sexual partners, or anything else regarding my sexuality. I am what I am, I do what I do.

I think girls are a slut when they sleep around in selfish and reckless ways.
Same with men.
I think most people think of it this way; sometimes, without even thinking about it that way.

I see nothing wrong with this.
I only see men being praised for such acts by fellow men that do such acts, and by the chicks that dig it.

I think shows like Desperate Housewives prove that in America, many find it quite okay for women to be sluts too.

I think your argument is outdated and pointless to the masses, and I wish I would stop seeing this thread.
