Nah man I don't doubt Roors are awesome but I'd always go for the cheaper alternative. I just hate the elitist attitude alot of Roor owners have.

 

i was just commenting on the quality of this bong, you can smoke it how ever you like. you could take a small smooth hit or a huge smooth hit from a quality bong like this.

if you like to "savor" you would like this bong.

Personally i think RooR is ridiculously over priced... imho...

I paid just over $200 for my recent bong purchase.. its a local called TKO.. its at least.. 5mm.. if not 7mm thick... 17" ice pinchers.. diffuser.. though i may by a RooR diffuser.. dunno. unless i can find another down stem that has the same design concept but cheaper.. cuz RooR diffusers are nice...

I think the carbon is a lil cheesy and pointless.. you want cleaner smoke.. get yourself a ash catcher... it'll look better too

 

no, not about a cleaner smoke, a cleaner bong. carbon filter means I dont have to clean it as often.

Carbon filter is much better at filtering than an a/c. With an a/c both the water sections still get filthy and the glass stains much easier. I've used a cf for a few months now and it takes ALOT of smoking to get my bong anywhere near dirty or clouded with resin. This isn't my picture but I just found it on the net somewhere. It demonstrates how well it works.

edit: I'm also hoping to order an ashcatcher tomorrow or the day after, to complete my bong!

I didn't suggest you buy an illadelph, I was just showing off that sweet bong picture. Roor and illadelph are on the same level in my mind so buying one over the other is just personal preference.

 

^ dont get me wrong, illadelphs are a fuckin sick bong and i would have gotten one instead, but my location does not carry them (theyre hard to get into canada)
