What's your favourite holiday and why?

I love Halloween... Carving pumpkins and decorating the house is way too much fun!

And Chinese New Year is fun too... even though I'm not Chinese, I love going down town for the parade and celebrations, it's totally fun!

 

Halloween because I love the creepiness of the season.

 

me too! There's something very interesting about worshiping the dead in some holiday... just for kicks. Tried explaining how in this way Easter and Halloween are very similar and the priest kicked me out of the youth group when I was younger.

I like Halloween the most, being able to go around in the dark of night dressed up scaring people is alotta fun. This year tho I'm going as Jesus, with a cross on my back and either a submachine gun or a bible in my arm. I might not have anything in my arms, i want the cross to be big, so I might have to carry it. Crucify this!

haha, nice job....I am fascinated with the roots of halloween and the Mexican day of the dead, so much more interesting than other holidays.

 

Mardi Gras is pretty good, good enough excuse to continualy get trashed and run around downtown anyway...

Woulds my birthday count as a holiday? Sometimes they hold elections on it. I think it should count.

 

I really like Halloween because I love dressing up and going around to the houses with my friends. I also like it cuz its in autumn and its spooky at night

 

4th of July is pretty fun too...

 

The beaches aren't bad though, just watch out for hurricanes...

I like Halloween and Christmas. Halloween because it's so creepy and Christmas because I get to see my family all together. And I like the aura surrounding both Holidays.

I like Halloween...probably an interest left over from my goth days. And I like the winter holidays...Christmas...Yule...whatever you want to call it. I like giving gifts. I like the food and baking cakes and cookies for my family. I like the decorations. I just wish I lived somewhere I could experience a white Christmas.


And yes, Florida does suck.
