I was wondering if anyone knew what blind people saw under the influence of psychedelics...?
Any answers or links would be awesome.

studies have been done, and I've known blind people and talked to them about LSD and DMT. The colors enhance. The visions occur.

What I'm more interested in is Iboga, because one of my shaman friends who microdoses with this plant says he can close his eyes in the dark and still see everything perfectly.
    Might be an interesting study...

you can see in the dark on a lot of psychedelics.

always wondered that myself, what do blind trippers see, especially people who have been blind their whole life.

I have experienced seeing clearly in the dark as well (eyes closed)...although the blind people I've talked to didn't really get that far. A lot of the times they talked about being really confused about time, which I thought was really interesting.

I wish I had links to the studies I have heard of. They would be a good read.

    Those quotes are awesome, Stalk!
I'd hope to see those links, or maybe hear of some more experiences.

i would think it would depend on if they were blind from birth or if they ever saw color before having blindness

^ yeah that would probably matter.

It's kind of the same with deaf people when they dream. People that have been deaf since birth, it's silent in their dreams, and all the people use sign language. pretty crazy.

do you think a deaf person has more intense visuals? i know people that lost their hearing that said after the fact that their vision became more acute. so maybe that would lead to more extreme visual delights?
