wasnt it very handy that them two russian airplanes were blown out of the skys just a few days before the beslan school seige? it certanly was. in less than a week after beslan attacks, putin announces that he is going to reform the russian inland security system because terrorist attacks like beslan must be stopped.

of course, he also laid out plans to completely change the way russian is run. bringing criticism claiming the former high ranked KGB officer is trying to bring russia back to its old soviet style of government.

maby im alittle slow here, and i am well aware of the russian/checnya friction. but i see the hegellian principle in full flow here.

    More like the globalist handbook.

Like we saw here in America in the wake of 9/11, we are seeing the same problem-reaction-solution scenario taking place in Russia. And now it's going to give Putin the excuse to launch a full-out attack on the Chechens, while further violating the rights of the citizens in his own country, just like we see happening here.

There is definitely a hidden agenda here. This was, in my opinion, a Russian government-sponsored attack. There have already been several mainstream news articles highlighting suspected complicty of local Russian police, basically knowingly allowing the school takeover to occur.

A stronger government is what Russia needs. It has too many weak areas, prone to terrorist attacks, which have to be defended. My father was a friend of Putin when he was younger, and he only speaks highly of Putin, describing him as intelligent and strong. I agree, personaly, Putin won't take shit like former leaders did.

He might have planned the plane take downs himself inorder to have an excuse to strenghen the defence... but, that's just a specualtion, and stronger interior defense is needed in Russia.

Well, almost all of Russian taxpayers' money goes straight into the country's military, which is probably why the country is such a shithole to begin with.

I don't think Russia needs a stronger government. They need a government that isn't totally riddled with corruption, and one that actually PRETENDS to give a shit about its people. This will never happen, though. It won't even happen here.

Maybe Putin is "intelligent" and "strong," but that doesn't necessarily make him a great leader. Russia certainly does not seem any better off now than it has been.

Russia also might not be targeted by terrorists if they'd stop massacring whole villages in Chechnya. *sheesh*

A third of the country being under the thumb of the Red Mafia doesn't help either.

Exactly - it's disturbing to me that so many people believe now that Russia is this wonderful bastian of peaceful democratic liberty that is being mindlessly attacked by savage terrorists. People really need to read up on the history of Russia in Chechnya - not to mention the oppression that is happening in Russia TODAY.
