What is the grease they use to fry french fries at a fast food shop made out of typically? IS it derived from animals?
in Canada? good question. Can any living in Canada members help out here? From a US POV, usually partially hydrogenated oils, reason enough to avoid right there. Sometimes the fries/chips themselves have natural flavoring derived from beef. (really processed)
No the grease is not usually meat derived. BUT some of the filer /flavor in the fries (that come frozen) is beef talo. Mcdonalds fries are not veg. http://www.vegetarian-restaurants.net/OtherInfo/FastFoodRest.htm
Taco bell is a lower grade then dog food(which should be higher grade) Not to mention, have you ever worked in a fast food restaurant? They are less then clean, you're probably getting a little bit of animal in you everytime you eat there. To each his/her own I guess, but you're still supporting the murder industry by buying it.
I have known people who have worked in fast food. I have special ordered my food from them knowing it would be handled properly and meat kept away from it. MOST restaurants are actually pretty good about that because things like having a separate fryer for fries benefits THEM. I am pretty weary of Taco Bell because I have gotten meat food there- BUT when a friend was a manger there I did love getting the rare simple meal from her. ugh. the "still supporting the meat industry" bullshit. If you are buying ANYTHING you are most likely supporting a bad industy in one way or another. unless you live in a completely self sufficient bubble(which tbh isn't a bad idea now adays) you probably ar supporting them. fucking cry.
Bluntman-You are so miserable. I honestly don't know why you post here. Everyone is here to exchange ideas and support eachother except for you. You're so critical and mean, if you want to critisize you should try to be constructive at least. I LOVE 7LAYER BURRITOS!!! AND MMMMMMMMMMMmmm I do like french fries on occation.
