Who else has seen and love this movie?

It was one of the movies that I couldn't get enough of as a child. I watched it at least 10 times a month. I more than likely drove my mother nuts.

So what were your favourite scenes?

From what I remember, this was a good movie. I've seen it many times, but that was 10 or 12 years ago. I'm always afraid to see movies that I loved as a child, because whenever I see them again, the fond memories are crushed by the grim reality that the movie just isn't that great.

    I love Drop Dead Fred!!!

I like the kitchen scene when he is under the mom's skirt.....heehee.....cobwebs......

I also when he smacks her with the shovel in the backyard (I think that's what happened. It's been awhile....)

Very silly movie. I like it!

I thought it was a fantastic film, Rik Mayall was perfect for the role.

I LOVE DROP DEAD FRED!!! My favorite scene...well there's 2 main ones that i can remember now. 1 is when she thinks he is playing the violin, but infact its an actual person and she starts hitting her w/ her purse. & 2 is at the party he slides on the floor under this one woman and points up and says "no panties"... ;)

I LOVE DROP DEAD FRED!!! It's been one of my favorites since I was a kid...I wasn't so much a fan of how it influenced my big sister to keep picking her nose and wiping it on my face...but It was good when Fred did it...

I really like when he wakes her up in the night to play burglers :)
And also when they are in the garden together and he tells her to "get happy" and hits her in the head with a shovel.

If somethings not working right just smash it up to make it better.

That is the case for me with this movie. I loved it when I was young......but I recently caught it again on a movie channel or something and it was so stupid to me I couldnt even sit through it.

I watched it as an adult and loved it, I love it right at the beginning when shes a little girl and her mother has finished reading her a night time story and 'she says what a load of shit'
I think theres a serious side too about her battling with her over domineering mother as seen in the dream scene when she goes and unties her little girl version of herslef from the bed i like that scene too
