Why is it that with many psychedelics, you feel greater than usual the next day, but only for that day?
Someone always told me that the mushroom comedown is terrible but I have no idea wtf they're talking about. i always feel so good afterwards. A bit mentally drained, but nothing like a hangover. I had a really bad Molly hangover adn some terrible booze hangovers, but that's about it. Never done LSD but I plan to soon and I've heard the come down off of that isn't too bad.
I love that. That's the best part, I think. The morning after a serious trip, you go out, and everything is so beautiful. Everyone you see is someone you just absolutely love. Leaves fall off trees as if they're dancing just for you, every step you take is perfectly in harmony with the movement of the world around you, and you're just so happy to be alive... And just with the look in your eyes you can communicate to everyone you meet exactly where you're at. I love that. I even love the tired feeling, because it feels like I've worked through something, like I made it to the top of a mountain. It's beautiful.
its probably because of the stomach naughts is what they are talking about and yeah it does seem better the next day probably because your brain is out of that trance it was in and you realize this the next day while still "kind of" feeling it with the hang over
mhm psychedelics have no comedown for me, and I love it. After a big trip, as the next day unfolds... everything is at its most beautiful..
This is so common there's a term for it, afterglow. I think it wears off after a day or so because we fall back into the habitual thought patterns that the psychedelics help break us out of. I had a three week afterglow one time; it was after I used random combinations of psychedelics every day for five days. I was smoking weed for those three weeks so that probably helped maintain it.
