Today I found out that my GF is pregnant. This really sucks because we have been using condoms religiously.
That must have been a shock, for both of you. I hope everything works out ok. It's a big thing to get your head around.
My fiance is 24 about to be 25 and we are expecting our first in February. Also, it was unplanned and we had been using birth control. Just take some time to process it. It will be scary but I am sure you will be okay.
A little hint...nobody is ever REALLY ready. You just jump in and swim. You'll be fine. It's not like you are a teen.
anyone who actually thinks they're READY for a child has obviously never been around them much. but you muddle through and actually enjoy it sometimes.
I didn't plan on being a parent, but man it is a gift. We were on the road,living in a van when we found out we were pregnant together. I love my little Moira. She actually saved my life. Do the best you can do. Peace.
condoms are never fool proof hunny. its ok, you will get through it. my other suggestion is if u both seriously dont feel like u can do it, try adoption. there are alot of wanting people out there who would love a child of thier own!
Thought I would posr a quick update... We relized that there was 1 time we didn't use a condom - the first time we had sex which is during the week she got pregnant. I am not over the initial sock of it and quite happy - I cant wait to be a dad. We decided on a name - Evan or Evanne (depending on if its a boy (we hope) or a girl).
