Today for some reason I shaved my beard off for the first time in years.
For some reason I have not felt as cynical today as I usually do.
    I feel like a different person . .

I look really different, especially now with dreadlocks. It's been 17 months.
I feel like some paths got changed or something...hair is so weird.

yes, hair is very wierd. when i ripped my fatty locks apart into smaller ones i changed drastically. it was very emotional.

and this last time when i waxed my nethers and shaved my legs, i cried because i missed my wookie hair. i felt like a different person... a sellout or something.

dittooooo! i used to get really bullied at school, got called a werewolf and stuff, so ive shaved pretty much all of my body since i was 8 years old =[ not fun.. it goes deeper than that..

i think the same about 'sell out' stuff too, like... why should women have to shave their legs every day cause society tells us too? its silly.. but i still do it (not every day, more like every 2 months)

i love a woman with hairy pits

    o love a natiral woman
ive seen the hariness lil outta control b4 but never bothered me
and i think 1 of the most beautiful things i ever saw in my life was this 60+ year old rainbow woman with an 8 inch long goateee that she braided and hung lil trinkits in it
i just thought it was so amazing to see someone celebrating theyree diffeerences instead of being ashamed of them.

    question...

what should I use to shave with instead of shaving cream?

    would aloe work?

I've never had a natural substance to shave with, and I'm going to do it for a while.

zanu...stubble feel;s like velcro hair feels like soft pillowyu cussions
its the shaving that causes the velcro feeling in between shavings, but give it 2 weeks to grow natiraly and it becomes soft as can be

hey Stalk I think you can shave with anything. I've shaved with water alone. Just may need moisturizer afterward.

The few times I've shaved the beard completely I used clippers to get it almost to stubble and used Burt's Bees for Men bar soap to get a little lather going on my face and a straight razor. A little aloe helps to soothe any burn after. I have a thick coarse beard and sensitive skin and this combo worked great.

    fwiw

I may shave once or twice a year. I like my beard, but keep it tidy every so often. For the ladies, shaved is fine, natural is hot as hell, but stubble....not so much.
