    Hey everyone
When I was in Highschool I was in the Animal rights club for 3 outta the 4 years and now that Ive been outta highschool for the last year or so Ive been thinking about starting a local Animal rights group:piggy: .. maybe a vegan/vegetarian support group.... or when I get back into college I could start somthing there.
So to get to the point I was wondering if anyone had anytips on starting these things up.

I think this thread would truly be great not just for myself but for anyone that would be interested in starting somthing in there area. :D

~*Please keep the vibes postive on this thread ~*

    Thanks !!!

    Peace<3

Start by trying to find homes for unwanted/strap animals. Encourage everyone that has an animal living with them to have them spaded/neutered. Work with a local vet on creating a fund to offer spaying and neutering for free or at a low cost.

Thank you. You should start out by helping the animals you can definately help. You could also do volunteer work at a wildlife rehabilitation center. That would be an educational experience.

I actually started an animal rights group at my (Bible-belt, hunting, fishing, prep) school. We got about 24 members (out of about 320 in our high school.) It's called ARC (Animal Rights Club.) Right now, we're trying to find a humane society that will accept us as volunteers.

    Good luck!

A really good start is to find others in your area with a similar interest and animal shelters are the best place to begin. I became involved several years ago with a local animal rights group which rescues herding dogs and have found some of the best of human friends in the process too!

There really is power in numbers and I hope you all the success in the world for your most worthy of endeavors.
