The internet and YOU

I first saw the net in the early 90s.It was amazing.
I had a friend who had a 56k videophone with it.

When I was really young , I had a boffin friend send me an "electronic mail".
It was actually a cassette with a letter written in software..

I remember hearing that by the age of 5 , we'd all have videophones.But most people dont use em , even today.LOL
Technology fascinates me , but it doesnt surprise me.
Because there's so much more we could use it for..

4th grade i believe

What prompted you to get internet at home?
ask my mother

Was it a bulletin board internet or was it after the start of graphical user interfacing
