Right now I have 2 important decisions to make and I'm just wracking my brain, giving it tons of thought, lots of headspace and I'm still in mental perma circles. How can one follow through on the decision? Is it right? Can it be undone? I'm losing it.
Write a list of the pros and cons. Put it away for 24 hours or longer. Come back with a fresh mind, read it again and decide. Once the decision is made, forget there was ever an alternative.
Take a shot of whiskey before writing the list. It will take the stress and pressure out of writing it.
Hey I know how you feel Im trying to make the decision to quit this university or not after the semester. I want to, but i dont know what i would do when i go back home... get a job? attend a community college? psh i dunno
I'm a lister maker, so I'd go with the pros and cons list. Good luck whatever it is you decide on whatever it is you're deciding.
Make the decision as if somebody not in your shoes is making it. This removes your emotion from the equation.
I don't do lists but do journal writings. Smoke a fattie....lean back and let go of my thoughts. Generally it becomes clear to me by the end of that session.
To make the best decisions , I:- meditate/breathing exercise hard , then chill with music. or take a walk in the sun and fresh air getting pissed *can* be good. talk to positive people , avoiding negative ones. sleep on it for a day , 2 , whatever. Oh and lists are vital... often I try and do a trial of what I choose. Be true to *yourself*. Good luck!
