Deadheads- What got you into the Dead!

My father. ;] an amazing man, he purchased me little stuffed deadbears when I was young and
When I first heard themI right away loved them! My first song I heard was Scarlett Begonias..So amazing. ;]

 

:sifone:I used to hate the dead when I was young but my mom still had me listen to them. Then when i got to college went to a couple of shows and I was hooked there was soo much love there not to mention lots of other cool things been a big fan ever since

I first listened to Skeletons From the Closet when I was 14 going on 15. I listened to it while drinking liquor and smoking weed during the day while my parents were at work with my two best friends and we were all so fucked up during rosemary. I listened to that cd for the rest of the summer when drinking/toking at night.

The first time I did acid I threw in a sweet cd that had candyman, fire on the mountain, and some others.

The 3rd time I did acid it was at summerfest 4th of july for Phil. It was the greatest day of my life and I haven't stopped listening to the dead since. My favorite albums are the first one and anthem of the sun now and I have listened to all of Terrapin, Blues for Allah, Grateful Dead, Anthem, and a few volumes of Dick's Picks. I also have seen truckin up to buffalo, closing winterland, and radio city all amazing dvds plus the grateful dead movie.

I love the dead.
