My little dreadlings are now 6months old and looking good but the ones at the nape of my neck keep trying to eat themselves or curl up under so its hard to see length sometimes I personally wonder if its because I have naturally curly hair any thought s anyone?
My hair is uber curly and the dreads at the nape of my neck locked up really quickly. They're also abnormally short and definitely the curliest of all my dreads. Sounds normal to me! Anything is to be expected when it comes to dreads. As long as it isn't doing harm, I say enjoy it. That's the fun.
mine did that, did you have your dreads be thin or thick? mine were thickers so after a little the weight of the dread kept them from curling under. i had a curly fest when i started but it should go away in a bit
I am it just seemed kinda weird but then again my dreadlings have minds of thier own so I just let them do their own thing
The ones at my nape are them cause they got formed form loose hair or some big ones I unfortunatly ripped"sigh" just waiting for them to weigh down kinda hard learning sooooooo much patience lol
From what i understand... dreads will be dreads it varies from each person. You can only guide them but they will do they're on thing Each dread is unique an thats the best part.
