question for the males......

im gonna try to make sense here, sometimes i manage to...
anyways, so heres my question...is a girl that is troubled/has many problems with life and herself more or less attractive?? ya i know there are other matters when attracted to someone...but specifically this...if a girls a little messed up, not just necessarily mentally but just with life and her decision..is that attractive in an odd way?
or does that push you back from her???
i know when a man's a lil troubled i find it kinda sexy.

Oh Alex, it just depends on the person. Besides we all have problems, and are troubled in some way.

 

I think alot of guys want a girl that needs their help or something like that, me personaly don'e care either way

 

You mean people with emotional baggage? I'm learning to try to avoid them on close terms, since they seem to carry drama w/ that baggage.

It depends on what degree she has issues. i want to be a mate not a father, babysitter or psychiatrist.


What attracts me most in women is intelligence and a good sense of humour.

 

mostly it seems that women who are attracted to men who are "a little troubled" are attracted to a fantasy of changing him for the better. (whether he wants it or not)


men on the other hand, seem more likely to view being "a little troubled" as a sign of weakness and therefore indicate someone who is perhaps more maleable.

both views stem from personal feelings of in-security, or even in-sufficiency and are dysfunctional behaviours.

one should be attracted to positive attributes in another, even in view of their shortcomings.

A guy who wants that in a person is often a man who wants to daddy them (protect, help fix) rather than partner them.......otherwise most try to avoide known baggage.


we all know that everyone in a relationship brings some amount of baggage...I would just question the motives of someone who saught it out.

well if a girl makes alot of bad desisions i think that is a turn off
