I always liked Hilary Swank and that chick from beautiful mind/requiem for a dream(can't remember her name)
there are a few other good ones too, as for the list you've given us to choose from I would probably pick winnona ryder (loved beatle juice and mermaids when I was a kid)

With the exception of Michelle Pfiefer and maybe Heigl; there is almost no talent whatsoever in your poll.
Sure, Ryder and Barrymore are good; but nothing special
Julia Stiles and Whoopi Goldberg are, okay, but I don't find either has very much range at all.
Tara Reid just isn't very good.

My favorite actress is Naomi Watts.

I just watched "What Lies Beneath" and kept thinking, "wow, Michelle Pfieffer is a really good actress." That and she looks so glamorous all the time, even when she's supposed to look like crap, lol, which is not in any way a reflection of her acting, but it helps.
