Well. I am a newly discovered bisexual and I was just wondering how you all, if at all, show off your bisexuality. I thought of maybe getting a necklace or a wrist band to wear out in public. Something discreet that only homosexuals or bisexuals would be able to decipher. I want everyone in public to know, not only if I were to go to a gay bar or w/e. I am still a closeted bisexual, some of my GOOD friends I've had intimate frienships with for many years know, but most do not. So I was thinking of a way to fashion myself in a way which is easily removable or not obvious to people who don't know about homosexuals or bisexuals. How do you do it and do you have any suggestions to me?
*sigh* this is the thing with 'newbies', they don't see that all the stereotypes in the media don't have to apply so they try living up to them, sad really.

I have this problem as well though. I don't let it bother me too much. I don't fit in to any "stereotype" of bisexuality so it is always a shock when people find out. The trick is, don't worry about announcing it. I know it seems a little difficult, especially if you are looking for a love interest, but for now until you are more comfortable, you be the one who pursues lovers. And if you get lucky and somebody asks you out, then just be really happy. But if you are dead set on broadcasting why not go with a rainbow bracelet or something like that. There are plenty of designs you can go for, lots of rainbow or little rainbow. Just relax, it may seem overwhelming at first but it will get easier. And don't be in a hurry to come out of the closet. Just be your self and dont be afried to go with more gay / bi clothing if you want e.g. i go with bright cloths and bleach blond hair - and often kamp it up - but then thats just me. I would say go with what you want to weare and add other things to show e.g. pinck, blue tringal etc.
Based on my experience, you do not want to announce anything. Nada. Zilch. Your sexual proclivities are yours and by keeping them private, you gain un upper hand. If you are interested in a dude, put out your feelers. Ask the dude for coffees, movies, a trip to the beach, gym, mall, whatever. You'll see, how he reacts and pick it up from there... There are tons of dudes out there, who are happy to roll in the hay with another dude. But not with any dude who happens to be around flaunting his sexuality. Actually, most dudes would want to keep the matter very private for their own reasons. Showing it off, will instantly turn them off. This is not what you want to do. Besides, letting the world know, is often misunderstood as a general invitation to everybody to hit on you. In real life, mostly desperate dudes do that... KD
I wear toerings, flip flops, anklets, braclets, necklaces. I also like wearing bright colors like bright orange, lime green, purple. I like to color coordinate, But, I do not know if anyone gets it. I don't get hit on, but that maybe because I'm 61. <(^o^)>
I don't wear anything really, not to point out my sexuality anyways. I wear the typical stuff, like nail polish and pretty tight t-shirts- but that's just because I do, not to make a point of it. This stuff always gets people begging the question as to whether I am gay or not. I would agree with many, and say the Purple, pink triangle. The picture above is an example of it, there are a few slight variations mind. However, anyone else of similar interests should be able to sniff you out with that worn somehow.
