Can anyone identify these? I know the pics are bad but it's all I can do right now since I can't get my digital camera to work properly. The mushrooms on the left are the same in both pictures, as are the ones on the right. I found the smaller one on the left in a man made barricade made from piles of branches and sticks in the woods. The cap is reddish brown, and starts to form a point at the end. These were pretty plentiful in the area, and were in groups of around 2 or 3. The larger mushroom on the right has a brown center at its cap, surrounded by a much lighter off-whitish color, with brown edges. Both mushrooms have similar, white gills. I'm doing a spore print of them at the moment, and at about 5 hours into it when I checked it looks like it's white. I live in western Pennsylvania if that helps. And I don't plan on eating these, I'm just more curious. I wouldn't feel safe relying on some crap quality pictures to determine if I have some poisonous shrooms or some magical ones.
i know why they r not showing. go to imageshack.us and do the process, and when u get all the links, click the bottom thing that says "+ Show Advanced Linking" and copy that, and plug it in the "inset image" so try again ...
You will never be able to get anyone to ID those mushrooms from those pictures. So don't eat them until you learn how to take spore prints.
bit small but clear enough to say eat them and feel ill. blatantly not psilocybin. shouldn't pick unless you have experience or know someone with knowledge on mycology.
They are called Cantseeshizts.. common nonedible poisonous non psychedelics. in other words CRAP. WHITE SPOREs = DEATH.
hey salmon4me, we should make a thread and get it stickied basically saying how if you are posting pics to id shrooms, your not gonna get any answers and pictures are not enough, only to eat them if you are experienced etc. becasue every couple days there is a new thread saying "can you id these?"
