UPDATE: This year's (2008) MICHIGAN RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL has been extended to the OCTOBER 4TH - 5TH WEEKEND (i.e. an "added" weekend), because the 2009 movie: "All's Faire in Love" is being filmed there, because one entire MICHRENFEST weekend was RAINED OUT (by about 6" of total weekend rain, which was leftovers from HURRICANES "IKE" and "GUSTOV")!!! A brand new MICHRENFEST building is being built by the "Special Events Pavillion", to be used as a "stage" in the "All's Faire in Love "movie" (2009)!!! I even took a picture of it (in its "construction" phase, last SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH)!!!

I attended the last two SATURDAYS of the 2008 MICHIGAN RENASSIANCE FESTIVAL, and I was definitely filmed as a "background" attendee (by the Queen's passing horse, trying to purchase a slow-roasted TURKEY LEG (to take home for dinner) and by the JOSTING ARENA, sitting on a bundle of hay), on seperate Saturdays), but some people could have "tried out" as MOVIE EXTRA'S (but I didnt)!!!

When I was leaving to go home from attending the "Shamrocks & Shenanigans" Themed Saturday (September 21st), I talked to an old woman, who said that her daughter worked in "MAKE-UP" for the MOVIE: "All's Faire in Love", and that: "THE MOVIE COMPANY DOESN'T FILM ON SUNDAYS AND MONDAYS"!!! They film on the SATURDAYS of the MICHRENFEST weekends (plus some days from (TUESDAY through SATURDAY)!!! Now you KNOW!!!

For MICHIGAN RENASSIANCE FAIR attendees, TODAY (SATURDAY, OCTOBER 04, 2008) is your last chance to possibly "star" in the MOVIE: "All's Faire in Love" (2009)!!!

As a SIDE-NOTE: HOLLYWOOD COMES TO HOLLYGROVE!??? A nice word "pun", as both words contain the word "holly". Where does the word "HOLLYWOOD" come from? According to the article: "The Magic of Society Jordan Maxwell", by Bret Lueder ("UFO' Magazine, Issue #145, Vol. 23, No. 4, Pgs. 59-65, 72):

At last SATURDAY'S (September 28th) MICHRENFEST (THEME: "Sweet Endings"), I had a long and nice talk with Ed Beard Jr. (who has provided some of his ILLUSTRATED ARTWORK for the "Lord of the Rings" TOLKIEN book series) about MYSTICAL TOPICS and INTELLIGENCE!!! He's a very friendly and "cool guy"!!!
