can anyone reccomend a good video game?

well i'm 16 female and i don't really play a lot of video games at all, but i recently dropped out of school and my new school doesn't start til november and a lot of my friends are still in school so i've been gettin bored during the day, what are some good video games?
my brother has a gameboy DS that i can use and i also have a gamecube

i like the sims (ive played the sims2 for DS) and i like adventure games like the legend of zelda and stuff like that where it's a story adventure thing and u have to solve it or whatever

also i don't like really hard games cause i'm not that into video games haha and i don't like racing games that much.

 

get a job for 2 months. buy a gaming pc and a ps3/360, then you will only be bored when you eat or sleep.

as for ds, erm, try that nintendogs thing

 

WHat you do is get a old tv. aND a hand gun.. Turn on OPRAH..
Shoot TV While OPRAH is on.. Game dont last to long though, unless you got more tvs.
I suggest you use a paint gun and not real bullets.

i'd get a playstation 2.
there's fun to be had on that machine, believe me..
i'm not a nintendo person.

 

I enjoyed the latest episode of Zelda (especially all the sacred geometry...)
but that's the only video game I've played in years
except for spore
which I got bored with after a day...

 

haha me and my friends used to eat percocets like there was no tomorrow and nod out in front of the TV with little nerf handguns and shoot random ppl in the forehead when they said something stupid.

Prince of Persia - Sands of time. Adventure, action, excellent story, graphics and puzzle solving. I think you will love it

Edit: I played it on the Xbox and I heard of friends that the controls aren't really easy on the pc. It's also on the playstation 2, xbox and gamecube and it is very cheap by now, so I say play it on the gamecube :cheers2:

 

To actually answer you, for the DS there is Animal Crossing: Wild World, on the Gamecube: Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

 

All I can say is... old skool Playstation... Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Tekken, Abe's Oddyssey... daamn

 

ps2 - the games 'the godfather', 'medal of honor rising sun', 'metal gear solid 2', 'metal gear solid 3 snake eater' and any of the burnout games and you are sorted.

 

oh yesh - the Hitman series is legendary!
and im sure that's out for cheap on pc.

 

that's a cool game.
