The lyrics to the rest of the song are good, actually it's the best thing I've seen in a while.
But that verse is just depressing

It's an honest description of what life is like. It's sure as hell an improvement over Rock and Pop music these days, and I can't believe I'm saying that because Rap has never been my thing.

Sorry, but are you slow? I haven't heard the song, but people use lots of different points of views and metaphors when they write songs. A good lyricist is not always saying exactly what you hear. You often have to think about it.

I've worked as a sound engineer for sony music studios...

I can assure you all the music you hear on the radio was Bought from someone who wrote the song, then a band is brought in to record it, then they wrap it up and sell it just like any other mass produced good.

if you want good music, listen to music with good intentions

well, the radio and such is so concerned with cenoring. I heard the song, [well, the chorus] and was thinking, 'okay, they won't let peole swear and talk about drugs, but it's totally okay to have a song on the radio that says All I want to do is rob you of your money with a gun to your head'
