Hehehehe, thank's meangreen. It's only 2 girl's but I am expecting good yeild's and potent smoke. I don't have a space to really grow for massive quantity, so I have to go for quality.

Those flouros that you were using for germing. Is that the Hydrofarm kit that comes with the stand and all. I had one a while back and it worked great. Great job by the way. Those venting fans, they look like pc fans? 4 inches it seems. What are they?

my fault, i see that they are computer fans. anyone kknow of a good FAQ or tutorial on how to rewire them?

Thank's for all the compliment's. The light's that I used for germming/vegging came from Home Depot and Wal-Mart. They sell the same fixture's as the hydro shop's, but for much less. I also made a small fixture using a 3 bulb vanity light setup that can throw off over 7,000 lumen's. Between that and the tube fluoro setup, I am getting some really intense vegging light and sidelighting for/during flowering. I use a 250 HPS, a 150 HPS, and about 200-250 watt's of fluoro's.

 

Hey everyone... I just updated some new pic's. One of my girl's is popping purple pistil's. People like meangreen, tyedye, and geckopelli, will appreciate the purple pistil's. It's unsual considering that my temp's never get below 65 F, so she is running some true Northern Light's through her.

Wish I would have read your post about Walmart and lights before I put down big bucks at a grow store yesterday! Anyway, great pics. I can only aspire to achieve the same.

 

Wow!!! Those pics had me licking the computer screen

 

They have special fluoro bulb's at hydro store that you can't get at local chain stores (i.e....envirolights).Is that wat you purchased.

 

Thanks, I feel better if the 1000 watt bulb & ballast required the hydro store. This is my first go at this after a friend dropped by with 3 clones and Jorge's book last Saturday. Pretty exciting stuff, but requires quite the initial outlay of cash! Already am optimistic that it will be worth it all.

so what was your light schedule? 24 for how long? ...did you go to 12/12 and leave it there?

 

I used 18/6 for vegging and 12/12 for flowering. I went 12/12 when I saw that they were female. I usually veg for 5-7 weeks. I just posted some great new pics. One of the colas on my younger NL #5 girl is about 16 inches long and 3 inches thick. Go check it out.
