    Hi

I absolutly love his music, he's probably my favourite turkish singer. It's turkish pop music, but be not afraid of the term pop music because "türk pop" is still very close to traditional turkish music, a lot of orientalic instrumentations and wonderful melodies. He mixes up a lot different styles, modern dance beats, traditional turkish music, reggea, and much more. My favourite track by him is "Bilsemki" almost 7minutes long, which is more traditional. You should really listen to that song. His latest album is Çakra (chakra), it's such a beautiful record, here are some songs of that record which I really love:

    Adam Gibi
    Camina Minnet
    Yar Ayri Gayri
    Uğrunda Herşeyi
    Beni Unut

I haven't heard him, but I'll keep in mind to see if I can find some albums of him, next time I'm at the library. Sounds interesting... Do the rhythm go in 17/18 or something like that, almost like greek (pop-)traditional music? :)

if you want to listen some good turkish stuff (this is only my opinion) you must listen:

baris manco, cem karaca, 3 hurel, bulent ortacgil, fikret kizilok, yavuz cetin...

    just listen...
