Campbell's Chunky Healthy Request clam chowder is AWFUL. so bland... *sigh* i used to buy their 98% fat free clam chowder (which is actually really good) but the store didn't have any, only the healthy request, and apparently healthy means no flavor. I wonder if they even make the regular 98% fat free anymore :(

oh, also Progresso's vegetarian soups suck pretty bad too... i haven't tried their non-vegetarian varieties, but i imagine they're not much better.

well of course its bad, its made with clams. clams aren't edible, they're not food.

    they're boogers in fancy cases

most canned soups suck, and progresso is NO exception. devoid of flavor, and not filling.

the only canned soups that i've found to be reliably delicious are generally those found in the organic/healthfoods section of the grocery stores. they generally use better quality ingredients and more of them, and more closely approach the quality of homemade.

i'm a fan of lentil soups, personally.

but my favorite is italian wedding soup from a nice restaraunt
