I'm sorry for being away for so long guys, I just needed some time to settle and adapt my new life. For those who don't know, I've moved to the U.S, New Jersey, very close to NYC, and I'm going to college. I hope to be as present as possible, and please keep rocking! *hugs*
T'was weird not seeing you around!!!!! haha, I missed ya! hope you're getting on well in the U.S, kissouille moony ps: le forum francais est en bonne santŽ.......^^!!
and what about the yankees? good people? or just bloody Bush supporters? hehehehe i hope you're getting on well.
Yo yankee! How goes? What's up, pilgrim? ******============= ******============= ******============= =================== =================== ===================
In the whole New York-New Jersey area, most people don't support Bush at all. They really support Kerry either, actually, but, they support anything that's not Bush. I'm happy I didn't end up in Texas. Really, people are cool here! Really sweet, I mean, compared to the French, New Yorkers ARE really sweet. For real.
I'll probably go to US next year to play volleyball. Some of my friends are already there(Kansas, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Sent Loius) and they said it is great. Who knows, next season is still far away...
I know, Penny; I was just kidding. I just think it's funny to imagine that you have becomed an american. -I know that the New England states are not Texas. Isn't New England much more like Europe than the rest of the states?
Well, yeah, here it's much more like Europe, I mean, if you compare it to Europe, it's obviously different, but compared to California or Texas, for example, then here it's much more European looking. I spent a week in northern Michigan in August with Nick's family, and it was looking like Canada, som incredibly beautiful... so gorgeous, I loved it.
tant mieux! A vrai dire j'avais peur qu'en retournant sur le forum francais de le retrouver avec une demi page et 3 personnes ou pire... lol Mais je vois que tout va tres bien
Wow. Joisey! Call me mentally-handicapped, but I never thought of many French people livin in Jersey! Well, have fun.
or is it that europe looks like new england? hrmm ;p anyways, you all have heard bad stereotypes of texas and california...some of the best people come from those states...southern hospitality in particular in texas is big, and if you think new yorkers are nice, those people will make you sick with how nice they are
Yep, their hospitality's known worldwide, they have always a free chair for you at home (an electric one )
I've got some family far out, I mean - some grandmotherbrotherauntsisterunclepastsongrandbrother, that lives in British Columbia, in the western Canada, but close to the U.S. border (where most canadians live). He has a vineyard, and close to where he lives, there is a sand desert, with cactus'es, a burning sun, and all such usual 'desert behavior'. I think europeans has a tendency to compare Scandinavia and Canada, but I actually think that southern Canada (where 99% of canadians live) is much warmer than we usually think. But I then guess that the climate of south-western Canada is different to south-eastern Canada. Canada is twice as big than USA. I think it's bigger than we can imagine, here in small Europe. love, noose.
canada is nowhere near close to twice as big as america... there is actually more land in the US than in Canada. for the US "Area: total: 9,631,418 sq km land: 9,161,923 sq km water: 469,495 sq km " for Canada " total: 9,984,670 sq km land: 9,093,507 sq km water: 891,163 sq km" its actually 1.03x larger http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/
Welcome to American Penny. I’m glad to hear you are having a good time. I think that you will find out that most Americans are very nice and helpful. I think sometimes some Europeans are guilty of stereotyping Americans as arrogant, rude, loud and ignorant. While there is no shortage of people like that, most are not at all like that. It’s unfortunate that someone like Migle, who seems intelligent, buys into these stereotypes. I see you visited Northern Michigan, that is where I grew up and it is my favorite place in the world. I hope you enjoy your time here and get everything your looking for.
I'm misinformed then. I was sure Canada was much bigger than the US. Have you really also included all the northern territories of Canada then? love, wolf.
yeah...canada looks much bigger on the map..the reason is because alaska is HUGE, and its almost never drawn to scale. It is always scrunched up and tiny
