How often do you smoke salvia and how much do you smoke? How often do you think would be too often?

    it is self regulating
I think I want it every day,
but I end up having only one inhallation or
a single 6 minute experience every 2 or 3 days.
up to and rarely 2 or 3 times in a day.

This may be a dumb question, but what is saliva? If it's slang for something I already know, I've never heard that term.

You may also try http://www.erowid.org/ for information on salvia.

sagewisdom and erowid are two of the best sources I have found on S. divinorum.

oh, and ive never smoked salvia, but im planning to very soon (as soon as i come into some money), hopefully i wont become dependant or addicted (is this possible?), but rather smoke it every so often. Do you become tolerant to salvia at all?

Addicted? No. Salvia doesn't affect the mu opioid receptors in the brain; there are no addictive qualities (some people are even turned off by salvia's power).

Tolerance? I have heard of no such thing, though it may exist if you smoke salvia every day (which I simply could not see as happening to most people).

I have heard that frequent smokers can build up a tolerance but do not know this to be true from my own experiences. I smoke salvia maybe 4-5 times a year, one or two small hits.

You know, it's been months since I've used Salvia.

It used to be several times a month. Or at the very most, more than once in a week. Like some people here have said, it is self-regulating. Salvia won't let you use more than you should, unless you are just completely reckless.

I find Salvia to be a case-specific psychedelic. I use it for a particular purpose, then set it aside for awhile. Somehow, I just seem to know when it is the right time. For the moment, I am putting her to rest. I have not felt like it was necessary to use Salvia for a long time. She was an immense help to me, though...at the exact time that I needed it. There is an guide within this plant, and it will not steer you wrong if you listen to it.

Wise words indeed. The powerful guidance given from this plant leaves a lasting impression.
