Has anyone else been prescribed Wellbutrin for depression/smoking cessation? This shit is a huge mind fuck. It turns people evil from the inside out. the rage is constantly seething, ready to explode at any moment .... fukking awful.
YES!!!! I took it for a short while & was a raging bitch(more so than usual.) A friends' doctor put her on it & she got delusional,paranoid,aggressive,hallucinated & couldn't sleep.So,tell your doctors what you're feeling & they should work with you til something 'fits'. Now I'm on Prozac & Adderall 25,it 'fits' just fine! This is not something to screw around with,okay? It's YOUR LIFE! It took me awhile to find something to work.Good Luck!
Hey man. I'm glad I'm not alone in that "side-effect". I havent been taking that for a few months now. I got to the point where I just couldnt deal and I found people in other chat rooms that had also freaked out. word has it, theres a dude who was taking wellbutrin and a car in front of him was driving too slow and he shot the driver and his girlfriend. i read that and realized I wasnt really such a raging bitch ...yet. I called my Dr. and he never called back. I cut it cold turkey. it was a harsh ride but it was better than the alternative. now God's green herb brings me to normal. Pharmeceuticals (sp?) have never really worked for me. Hopefully, others will read this and question their Dr. if they just offer Wellbutrin as a quick fix for depression, etc., etc.
thanks for posting that. recently, i was recommended wellbutrin, though i held off on making a decision. a friend of mine told me that she had horrible side effects, but that they're supposedly rare, so i might not necessarily have the same problems she did. that definitely seems like something to steer clear of, though. i'm glad i stumbled across this thread, thanks again.
