Working On the new Gro-cab

Well I've been doing a good ammount of research in the last few days and I think I have finally decided on a design. I want to make a scaled up "pc" grow with a metal cabinet I have that is 15"x24" and 28" tall. I want to do a SOG type grow with 6-8 flowering plants. I just purchased 2 Fluorex 65w(500w equivalent) CFL Floodlights they put out 6500k. I think I might have to try and fit a 3rd in there but I'm going to start with 2.

I also picked up an air purifier. I don't know if I want to put this in the cabinet or just around the vent.



I want it to be a set up like drBudGreenGene's at icmag.com forums if you haven't seen one of his grows you need to check it out.

When I start putting some of the peices together I'll post some pics of it. I really want some feedback, what do people think of this, what have they done like it... OH and I need some good seeds so if anyone wants to share let me know lol

Well I will have the parts to start this early next week. My buddy has a huge jar of seeds so I am going to try some of those out, and another friend said he would sell me a few cllones but he wants to "work" out a price. I was hoping to get some feedback before I start.... what do you think?

Still doing research... looks like most people use 5 - 42 watt "normal" cfl lighbulbs
from what I have seen they put out 2800 lumens a pop so thats 14,000 lumens total.
my 65watt fluorex cfl's put out 8,900 a pop so thats 17,800 total.... SO am I going to get away with 130 watts???? or will I need more like 210 watts??? And does anyone have any ideas for fans i can mount in the back?

 

well i built the hole thing and my friend LOVED it so much he had to have it so I gave it to him... and my room mate said no I can't have it in our appartmnt. sorry guys
