A) Losing a pet.

B) Gaining a maimed leg.

A) Losing the $100 million dollar lotto scratch-off game to someone just in line in front of you because they had cut in line.

B) Gaining an awful smell up your nose after you stepped into somebody's lingering passing of the foulest gas while knowing the person who just did it, knowing you'd walk into it, didnt even warn you.

1) this is the hardest one, but if we're talking equal amounts of like or dislike, i think gaining something negative is slightly worse.

I don't understand how having a wound on your leg can be worse than losing your pet..

 

I thought it was what you would rather... I pretty much reverse my answers than AAA

 

not just a wounded leg. a maimed leg. really messed up...the type of wound to affect the rest of your life...

i dunno. it also depends on how much you love your pet. i love my dog, and will be very upset when he dies. but i still would be more upset getting my leg severely mangled.

you expect your pets to die at some point, usually. most animals people keep as pets have a shorter lifespan than humans. it sucks, but it happens, its life, its to be expected.

but you could go your whole life being able bodied. to get your leg severely mangled is really, really bad luck.

for a dog or cat to pass away is just normal and expected.

Oh really.. hmmmm.. I don't know, if it were physical pain I'd deal with it.. more than losing my pet.. but if it were losing my leg.. I don't really know..

 

i can think of nine cats and dogs (not to mention fish, birds, and farm animals) that have died on me throughout my life right off the top of my head, there may be one or two i'm forgetting...

i only have two legs and if i lose one of those i can't get another.

and like nesta said, you expect your pet to die whereas my leg should last as long as i do.

 

that's true.. I think i'd be more upset at the loss of a pet, though, as it would happen
