I would love some help with how my signs would influence the way I act, feel or go about things etc. I'm a Pisces sun, Gemini rising, & Capricorn moon. I find that who I think I am vs who people see in me (those close to me) is very very different - & I have trouble showing them any different most of the time. How does the sun, moon & ascendant affect your personality & traits. And i find that I never get along well with any Gemini's I come across - there is just a natural clash between us. Which I think somewhat reflect myself too - frustratingly so. Any insight would truly be welcome...
Sorry - I need to answer in my traditional curmudgeonly way. In traditional, your ascendant is you. Period. Mercury is the ruler, so look at the house and sign that Mercury is in. Mercury works better in some signs than others. If Mercury is in the 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th houses, and in a strong sign, then it will be very active and influential. Notice I'm not even talking about Gemini here. Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo. The houses they rule will be important for you. Virgo is probably ruling your 4th house - father, home, family, property. Gemini is an air sign. Look at the houses Libra and Aquarius, the other air signs rule. These are also important. Most likely these will be in your 5th and 9th houses, so children, games, entertainment (5th house), and long travel and religion (9th house). Mercury is likely (though maybe not) the ruler of your chart, so it comes down not to sign, but to the house Mercury is in, its strength and aspects, and then the other signs I mentioned.
Don't underestimate the spiritual strength of the Pisces person. Gemini's may be more outgoing and fun to be around but are more shallow. Pisces has vast reserves of compassion that wait below the surface. Gemini is the Yin and Pisces is the Yang. Gemini thinks while Pisces feels. Whether or not the Asc or the sun are a stronger influence depends on the signs, and the opinion of the observer. The two signs are perenially at a crossroads.
Your Pisces IS influential, but only in the house that it falls in. All the signs are influential in some way. I was talking about it in terms of personality only. If your Pisces is in the 11th house for instance, it affects your friends.
As a Pisces, you're a very intelligent, likable person. But with your Gemini rising you secretly need to express who you are. You might want to see if your Chiron is in Gemini because if so that would explain the difficulty in expressing yourself properly. I have Chiron in Gemini as well as Gemini Sun, so while I love talking and being social as well as expressing myself at times I have difficulty getting my ideas across. Oh! You're also a Capricorn moon like me as well! I'm guessing you're very OCD and like your things just so.
Very true. I find as a Gemini i love Pisces. they compliment me so well. My best friend of five years is a typical Pisces and I adore him. When i tend to be hyper and scatter brained, he brings things into focus.
You never know who you'll be attracted to. I find it amazing who is attracted to who when I look at two peoples birth charts.
