True. But when I listen to many of them all I can do is think of how they're just copying the greats (like Eno) without really doing much to expand on the sound (which really is impossible with that sort of music).

I'd say copying is too strong a word. it's informed by Eno, but you can't really say Windy & Carl sound like him, for instance.
